Venue and Hotels


The ATC’17 will take place at The International Center for Interdisciplinary Science and Education (ICISE), Science Avenue, Ghenh Rang Ward, Quy Nhon city, Binh Dinh province, Vietnam. ICISE is in a coastal village and about 5km from the downtown of Quy Nhon City. ICISE is equipped with a great meeting facility with a private beach on the east side and mountain views (photos below). The facility was designed by a French architect and built in 2013 by Prof. Tran Thanh Van, a Vietnamese French physicist. The distance from Quy Nhon University to ICISE (Conference venue) is about 9 Km. It takes 15 minutes by shuttle bus. The conference will arrange shuttle buses for transportation between ICISE and Quy Nhon University during the meeting


There is no international flight flying to Quy Nhon. You might fly to Hanoi (capital of Vietnam) or Hochiminh City then take a local flight or train to Quy Nhon (or Qui Nhon)

1. By Airplane

There are three airlines flying to Quy Nhon from Hanoi (1h 20min direct flight) and Hochiminh City  (1h direct flight)




Airport Shuttle Bus: the bus will transfer you from the airport to Quy Nhon center (at 01 Nguyen Tat Thanh). Fee: 50,000 VND (~ $2,2). Transportation time: 50 mins. In contrast, if you want to catch the bus from Quy Nhon to Phu Cat Airport, please arrive at 01 Nguyen Tat Thanh at least 2,5 hours in advance of your flying time.

Airport Taxi: you can take a taxi to Quy Nhon with some good companies like: Mai Linh taxi, Binh Dinh Sun Taxi, etc. Fee: 200,000VND – 300,000VND (from $9 to $13)

2. By Train

Not recommended, it takes longer time to get to Quy Nhon by train. The price for  flight and train tickets are similar  if you book a flight early. Get off the train at Dieu Tri station (12 km from Quy Nhon) and take a taxi to go to Quy Nhon. Fee: 230,000 VND ($10).
