Advanced Technologies for 5GA/6G Wireless Systems

Wireless communication technologies are evolving at an unprecedented pace, forming the foundation of next-generation digital connectivity.

AIMS AND SCOPE:

Wireless communication technologies are evolving at an unprecedented pace, forming the foundation of next-generation digital connectivity. In the era of 5G-Advanced (5GA) and the emerging 6G networks, there is a growing demand to support massive data traffic while meeting stringent requirements such as ultra-high data rates, ultra-low latency, enhanced reliability, energy efficiency, and robust security. These capabilities are not only critical for enabling intelligent and immersive services but also indispensable for the large-scale deployment of Internet of Things (IoT) devices. 5GA/6G technologies are thus poised to become the core enablers of future digital ecosystems, driving innovation across industries and transforming the way devices, users, and systems interact.

Leveraging recent advancements in wireless communication technologies, this special session aims to explore a variety of topics, including but not limited to the following:

  • Integrated Radar and Communication Systems, Integrated Sensing and Communication Systems
  • Near Field Communication, Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access, Full-duplex communication, MIMO & massive MIMO, and cell-free massive MIMO communication
  • Semantic communication, Age of Information
  • Ultra-reliable short-packet communication, Millimeter-wave (mmWave) communication, THz communication, V2X and D2D communication
  • Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces, Software-defined networking and network function virtualization
  • Wireless security, Convert communication,
  • Internet of Things (IoT), low power wide area networks, and visible light communications system
  • Quantum communication, fluid antennas
  • Satellite/ Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV)/ High altitude platform communication
  • Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications in wireless communication networks
