Tan Son Nhat International Airport is 7km from the city center, the main gateway for flights coming from all over the world.

By Taxi

Taking a taxi is comfortable and especially convenient if you want to go to places that the bus cannot reach. Taxis charge according to the kilometer meter with the price of 8,000VND - 12,000VND for the first 500m and 13,000VND-15,500VND for the next kilometer. The familiar taxi brands are Vinasun, Mai Linh, Futa, Saigontourist… You can hail a taxi while standing on the side of the road in most places, or by queuing at the taxi stand available in most shopping malls, hotels and attractions.

The Thong Nhat train travels from Saigon station to Phan Thiet, Nha Trang, Quy Nhon, Phu Yen, Quang Ngai, Hue, Da Nang, Dong Hoi, Vinh, Thanh Hoa, Nam Dinh and Hanoi. An odd-numbered train is a train going to the South, an even-numbered train is a North-bound train. Train SE2, SE4, SE6 from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi takes about 29-33 hours. These trains depart from Ho Chi Minh City at 19:00, 19:50 and 23:00. Ticket prices for foreigners and locals are the same.

BY WATERBUS


You can experience a variety and richness of sightseeing programs and discover Southern culture, history and cuisine by waterway. Sightseeing routes to Cu Chi, Can Gio, District 7, District 9, District 8 and District 5, Thanh Da - Binh Quoi and Nhieu Loc - Thi Nghe inner city tourist route are currently ongoing waterway tourist routes in the city.

In addition, you can go to Vung Tau city and vice versa including many routes. There is a trip every 1 hour, starting from 06:00 to 17:00, running time is about 1.5 hours.
